The correct answer is: 2±6,1

Ly-mx-1=0 of circle Sx2+y2-1=0 touches the circle S1x2+y2-4x+1.

Consider line, L-mx+y-1=0 and circle S1x2+ y2-4x+1.

 Centre of S1 is 2,0.

If the straight line touches the circle then,

22-1=-m2+0-1-m2+1

3=-2m-11+m2

32=2m+121+m2

31+m2=4m2+1+4m

m2+4m-2=0

m=-4±(4)2-4(1)(-2)2(1)

m=-4±16+82

 m=-2±6

Now, L=0 is

y-(-2±6)x-1=0

y+(26)x-1=0  ....i

The chord of contact for a point h,k with respect to S is ky+hx-1=0  ...ii

Comparing i & ii, we get

h,k2±6,1
