Density of solution = 1.11 gml-1

Molarity of solution = 2M

Density is the amount of x g of solution in 1000ml of solution.

Mass of solution = density ×volume=1.11×1000=1110g

Molality is equal to the number of moles of solute present in 1000 g of solution.

Number of moles of solute = 2 mole

Molar mass of ethylene glycol= 62 g/mol

Mass of solute = Mole×molar mass=2×62=124 g

Mass of the solvent = 1110-124=986g

Molality=Number of moles of soluteMass of solvent in g×1000

Molality=2986×1000=2.02m
