As density =massvolume

 ρ=M43πR3=34MπR3

The percentage error in density is

Taking "log" both sides we get lnρ=ln 3 4 +lnMlnπ3lnR

differentiating, we get   Δρ ρ = ΔM M 3ΔR R

But as error is always added   Δρ ρ = Δm m + 3ΔR R

Δρρ×100%=ΔMM+3ΔRR×100%

=3%+32%=3%+6%=9%
