The correct answer is: 20

Let x1, x2, x3, ......xn be the observations

 Mean =x1+x2+x3+.....+xnn

 10=x1+x2+x3+......+xnn.....1

Now when observations are multiplied by 2, then new observations are

2x1, 2x2, 2x3......., 2xn

New mean =2x1+2x2+.....+2xnn=2x1+x2+.....+xnn

=2×10

=20
