The correct answer is: 2

Equation of tangent at parametric point 

 b cosθ,2a sin θ  to the ellipse is xbcos θ+y2asin θ=1

Co-ordinates of Pbcos θ,0 and Q0,2asin θ respectively.

Therefore, Area of triangle formed by tangent and co-ordinate axes=12×bcos θ×2asin θ=absin θ.cos θ=2absin 2θ

as sin θ1 therefore we can say Minimum area of triangle =2ab

k=2
