The correct answer is: 3x2-10x+7=0
1, 1, λ and -3, 0, 1 are equidistant from 3x+4y-12z+13=0 then

3+4-12λ+1332+42+122= -9+0-12+1332+42+122

20-12λ= -8

5-3λ = -2

25-30λ+9λ2=4 

9λ2-30λ+21=0

3λ2-10λ+7=0
