Let, the vector $\overrightarrow{AB}=l\hat{i}+m\hat{j}+n\hat{k}$

Projection on $XY$ plane is $\sqrt{l^2+m^2}=\sqrt{15} \Rightarrow l^2+m^2=15 ...\left(1\right)$

Projection on $YZ$ plane is $\sqrt{m^2+n^2}=\sqrt{46} \Rightarrow m^2+n^2=46 ...\left(2\right)$

Projection on $ZX$ plane is $\sqrt{n^2+l^2}=7\Rightarrow n^2+l^2=49 ...\left(3\right)$

Subtracting equation $\left(2\right)$ from equation $\left(3\right)$,

$\left(l^2+n^2\right)-\left(n^2+m^2\right)=49-46=3 \Rightarrow l^2-m^2=3\Rightarrow \left(l+m\right)\left(l-m\right)=3$

$\Rightarrow$ $l+m=3$ and $l-m=1$ 

So, $l=2, m=1$
Hence, the projection of $\overrightarrow{AB}$ on $y$-axis is $m=1$
