Given that,

Relative error of height δhh=0.02

Relative error of radius δrr=0.02

Volume of the cone, V=13πr2h

Applying log on both sides,

logV=logπ3r2h

 logV=logπ3+logr2+logh

 1VδV=0+2·δrr+δhh

 δVV=20.02+0.02=0.06

Percentage error =δVV×100=0.06×100=6%

 The percentage error in volume =6.
