Potential Difference of external circuit

= ϕ \times

balancing length

\frac{E}{2} = (\frac{E}{L} \times \frac{R_{p}}{R_{p} + r}) \times l

\Rightarrow \frac{E}{2} = \frac{E}{600} \times \frac{15 r}{16 r} \times l

∴ l = \frac{600 \times 16}{30} = 320 c m
