Given b x 2 +cx+a=0 has imaginary roots
c2-4ab<0
c2<4ab
 -c2>-4ab                          ...(i)
Let fx=3b2x2+6bcx+2c2
Here, 3b2>0
So, the given expression has a minimum value
Minimum value=-D4a
=4ac-b24a
=43b22c2-36b2c24(3b2)
=-12b2c212b2=-c2>-4ab
