$i=\frac{30}{R+1} \mathrm{~m} \mathrm{~A}$
Voltage across $1 \mathrm{k} \Omega=\frac{30}{R+1} \cdot 1=\frac{30}{R+1}=V_z$
$\begin{aligned} & \frac{30}{R+1}=6 \Rightarrow 30=6 R+6 \\ & 24=6 R \Rightarrow R=\frac{24}{6}=4 \mathrm{k} \Omega\end{aligned}$
