Given, T1=273+927=1200K

T2=273+127=400K

and W=12.6×106J

We know, the efficiency of a Carnot engine,

η=1-T2T1, where T2<T1

η=1-4001200=1-13=23

and η=Work done (W)Heat supplied(Q)

23=12.6×106Q

Q=12.6×1062×3

=18.9×106J
