The correct answer is:
$\frac{1}{2}$
Number of males = 14
and females $=6$
Total =14+6=20
Males above $40 \mathrm{yr}=8$
and females above $40 \mathrm{y}=3$
Now, P (selected person is female and above 40 yn) $=\frac{3}{6}=\frac{1}{2}$
and females $=6$
Total =14+6=20
Males above $40 \mathrm{yr}=8$
and females above $40 \mathrm{y}=3$
Now, P (selected person is female and above 40 yn) $=\frac{3}{6}=\frac{1}{2}$
