Height of capillary rise in tube is given by h=2Tcosθrρg, here, Tis surface tension, θ is angle of contact, r is radius of capillary tube and ρ is density of liquid.

Here, h1=2Tr1ρg and h2=2Tr2ρg

Now, the difference in liquid evels in the two limbs is

 h=h1-h2=2Tρg1r1-1r2=2×0.031500×1012×10-3-14×10-3=0.001 m=1 mm
