volume remains constant and no work is done by the system
In isochoric process, volume of the system remains constant.
i.e. $\quad \Delta V=V_{1}-V_{2}=V-V=0 \quad\left[\because V_{1}=V_{2}=V\right]$
Hence, work done, $W=p \times \Delta V=p \times 0=0$
i.e. $\quad \Delta V=V_{1}-V_{2}=V-V=0 \quad\left[\because V_{1}=V_{2}=V\right]$
Hence, work done, $W=p \times \Delta V=p \times 0=0$
