${\mathrm{S}}_{\mathrm{N}}1$ reaction gives racemic mixture with slight predominance of that isomer which corresponds to inversion because ${\mathrm{S}}_{\mathrm{N}}1$ also depends upon the degree of 'shielding' of the front side of the reacting carbon.
