In C4 plants kranz anatomy occurs in which bundle sheath chloroplast is differentiated from mesophyll chloroplast. Bundle sheath chloroplast has enzyme RuBiSCO which is protect from oxygen to reduce photorespiration, thus it has thick walls to inhibit gaseous exchange. It lacks intercellular space. It has high density of chloroplast.
