The correct answer is: cambium
Grafting is an artificial propagation technique where two different plants are grafted together. One plant's rooted stock is joined with the non-rooted stem of the other plant (scion). The cambium content must be compatible with this process to get a successful graft. The two parts of the plant grow and develop completely without any mixing or hybridization. For such a process presence of cambium is a must to join the grafts, which is absent in the monocot plants.
