The correct answer is:
$\mathrm{O}_2: 1 \sigma, 1 \pi ; \mathrm{C}_2: 0 \sigma, 2 \pi$
The bond order of $\mathrm{C}_2$ consists of both pi bond because of the presence of the four electrons in two pi molecular orbitals. Whereas in most of the other molecules a double bond is made up of a sigma bond and a pi bond.
Thus, option (b) is correct.
Thus, option (b) is correct.
