The correct answer is:
$264 \mathrm{gm} \mathrm{CO}+108 \mathrm{gm} \mathrm{H} \mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O}+686 \mathrm{Kcal}$
In respiration, from $180 \mathrm{gm}$ of glucose 264 $\mathrm{gm} \mathrm{CO} \mathrm{CO}_2+108 \mathrm{gm} \mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O}+686 \mathrm{Kcal}$ energy is formed. $\mathrm{C}_6 \mathrm{H}_{12} \mathrm{O}_6+6 \mathrm{O}_2 \rightarrow 6 \mathrm{CO}_2+6 \mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O}+686 \mathrm{Kcal}$
Atomic weight of $\mathrm{C}=12, \mathrm{H}=1, \mathrm{O}=16$
$$
\begin{aligned}
\mathrm{C}_6 \mathrm{H}_{12} \mathrm{O}_6 & =(12 \times 6+12 \times 1+16 \times 6) \\
& =180 \mathrm{gm} \\
6 \mathrm{CO}_2 & =6(12+16 \times 2) \\
& =264 \mathrm{gm} \\
6 \mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O} & =6(2 \times 1+16) \\
& =108 \mathrm{gm}
\end{aligned}
$$
$\therefore$ From $1 \mathrm{molecule}$ or $180 \mathrm{gm}$ of glucose, through energy are formed.
