In the circuit shown in the figure, if potential at point A is taken to be zero , the potential at point B is ?

The correct answer is:

3 V

Current From D to C =

3 A

∴ V_{D} - V_{C} = 2 \times 3 = 6 V

V_{A} = 0 ∴ V_{C} = - 1 V

∴ V_{D} + 1 = 6

\Rightarrow V_{D} = 5 V

V_{D} - V_{B} = 2

∴ 5 - V_{B} = 2

\Rightarrow V_{B} = 3 V
