The correct answer is: \( 2 \mathrm{~V} \)

Given,

emf of the cell, V=5 V

The voltmeter200 Ω and 100 Ω resistor are in parallel and their equivalent will be in series with the another 100 Ω resistor.

The equivalent resistance of the given network is

Req=100+100×200100+200

Req=100+2003=5003 Ω

Current through the circuit is,

i=VReq=55003=3100 A

The voltage reading of the voltage across 100 Ω resistor connected with voltmeter, which is same as the potential difference of equivalent resistance of 2003 Ω.

V'=3100×2003=2 V.
