 cut-off wavelength for continuous x-ray is given as :   λ min = hc e V 0

hc eV 0 = λ  &  hc 3 eV 0 = λ - Δ λ

( V 0 =acceleratingvoltage )

⇒   V 0 = 2 hc 3 e Δ λ = 4 kV
