The correct answer is:

1 A

Equivalent resistance, $R_{eq} = 2 Ω + \frac{4 \times 4}{4 + 4} Ω + 1 Ω = 5 Ω$

Current through battery, $i = \frac{V}{R_{e q}} = \frac{10}{5} = 2 A$

Current in resistance $R_{3} = 2 \times (\frac{4}{4 + 4})$

$= 2 \times \frac{4}{8}$

$= 1 A$
