The correct answer is: 527

Given:  E1 is the energy for the transition from n=2n=1 and E2 is the energy for the transition from n=3n=2.

Now the excitation energy is given as, 

E=-13.6 1n12-1n22 ev

For the first case, E1α 112-122=34

For the second case, E2α 122-132=536

 Thus the ratio is,  E2E1α527.
