The reaction of potassium dichromate, potassium chloride and sulphuric acid (conc.)is as follows,

K2Cr2O7s+4KCls+6H2SO4 (conc.)

2CrO2Cl2g+6KHSO4+3H2O

This reaction takes place in chromyl chloride test.

The Chromyl chloride is a neutral molecule as it does not have any charge on it.

Here, oxidation state of Cr  in CrO2Cl2 is +6.
