The correct answer is: 7

Given,

In triangle ABC, if A is acute, C is obtuse and sinA=3314,

Where a=3,b=5,

Now finding cosA=1-sin2A=1-33142=169142=1314

Now using cosine formula we get,

cosA=b2+c2-a22bc

1314=52+c2-322×5c

1314=16+c210c

65c=716+c2

7c2-65c+16×7=0

7c2-49c-16c+16×7=0

7c-16c-7=0

c=167 or c=7

Since C is obtuse so side c will be greatest so c=7.
