Energy of K absorption edge is

EK=hcλK=12.40.107=115.9 keV ,

Energy of Kα line is

EKa=EK-EL =hcλa=12.40.126=98.4 keV

Therefore energy of L absorption edge is

L EL=(EK)-E(Ka)=115.9-98.4

L EL=17.5 keV

The wavelength of the L absorption edge is

λL=hcEL=12.4 keVÅ17.5 keV=0.709 Å
