The correct answer is: 512

Probability (exactly one of A,B occurs) =59

PAB¯+PA¯B=59

PA-PAB+PB-PAB=59

Given, A and B are independent events.

So, PAB=PAPB

P(A)+P(B)-2P(A)P(B)=59

p+2p-4p2=59

36p2-27p+5=0

(12p-5)(3p-1)=0

p=13 or 512
