The correct answer is: ±22

b-2c=λa
b-2c2=λa2
b2+4c2-4b.c=λ22
16+4-4b.c=2λ2λ2=10-2b.c ... 1
Now, b×c2+b.c2=b2c2
15+b.c2=16
b.c=±1
The angle between b and c is acute
Hence, b.c=1
from 1

λ2=8λ=±22
