The correct answer is: 2

We have, a=b·cb-b·bc

=1.2cosθb-c

a=2cosθb-c

a2=2cosθb2+c2-2.2cosθb·c

a2=2cosθ2b2+c2-2.2cosθb·c

Given that, a=2, b=1 and c=2

22=2cosθ2+22-2.2cosθb·c

2=4cos2θ+4-4cosθ·2cosθ

b·c=bccosθ

-2=-4cos2θ

cos2θ=12

cosθ=±12

cosθ=12

θ=π4

0<θ<π2

Hence, 1+tanθ=2.
