The correct answer is: 7073

Given total available characters is 10 and total digits are 5,

So, for 6-digit password, the number of ways =106-56

For 7-digit password, the number of ways =107-57

For 8-digit password, the number of ways =108-58

  Total ways =106+107+108-56+57+58

=2656+2757+2858-56-57-58

=5626+5·27+25·28-1-5-25=7073·56

Now on comparing with α×56 we get α=7073
