Let z represent the principal argument of the complex number z.

The, z=3 will represent a circle with centre 0,0 and radius 3 units

And  argz-1-argz+1=π4 will represent arc of the circle with centre 0,1 and radius 2, now on plotting the diagram,

     

We can see they are intersecting nowhere.
