At the level of tissues, low pO2, high pCO2, high H+ concentration or low pH and high temperature are all favourable conditions for shifting the oxygen-haemoglobin dissociation curve towards right side by decreasing oxygen affinity and therefore causes dissociation of oxygen from the oxyhaemoglobin.
