Lysosomes are subcellular membrane-bound structure found in the eukaryotic cells. These vesicular structures are synthesized through the packaging process in the Golgi complex. Lysosomal enzymes are synthesized in the endoplasmic reticulum and are rich in all types of hydrolytic enzymes which help in digesting carbohydrates proteins lipids and nucleic acids therefore lysozyme act as the digestive system of the cell. The lysozyme organelles are also known as the suicidal bags of the cell because they cause lysis of the cell after the die.
