If male and female flowers are present on the same plant then that condition is called monoecious conditions. It is found in Fig, coconut, and maize, etc but if male and female flowers are present on separate plants then that condition is known as the dioecious condition and it is found in Papaya and date palm, etc. Date palm belongs to the Palmaceae family.
