The correct answer is: $\begin{array}{llll}\text { IV } & \text { III } & \text { II } & \text { I }\end{array}$
$\mathbf{A} \rightarrow$ (iv) Michelson Morley experiment was
an attempt to detect the existance of ether. The result of his experiment suggested the non-existance of the ether.
B $\rightarrow$ (iii) The Stern-Gerlach experiment demonstrated that the spatial orientation of angular momentum is quantised. Due to spin motion of electrons, particles have non-zero magnetic moment and hence they are deflected to the magnetic field gradient from a straight path.
C $\rightarrow$ (ii) Davisson - Germer experiment
demonstrates the wave nature of electrons i.e., the existence of de-Broglie matter waves.
$\mathrm{D} \rightarrow$ (i) By studying the tracks of cosmic ray particles in a cloud chamber, Anderson discovered a positively charged particles with a mass seemingly equal to that of an electron, named positron, which suggests the existence of anti- matter.
