The correct answer is: interelectronic repulsion between non-bonding electrons is greater
Nitrogen does not show property of catenation. Since, $\mathrm{N}-\mathrm{N}$ single bond is very weak due to large interelectronic repulsions between the lone pairs of electrons present on the $\mathrm{N}$-atoms of $\mathrm{N}$ - $\mathrm{N}$ bond having small bond length.
