The correct answer is:
(i) and (ii) only
During nodule formation the bacteria Rhizobium invades the cortex cells of the host and produces cytokinin which causes bacteria to divide and form a mass called as peribacteriod. At the same time host cell produces auxin. Which causes the cortical cells to enlarge and from nodule.
