Stratosphere zone of earth's atmosphere contains a layer of ozone \(\left(\mathrm{O}_3\right)\) which prevents the earth surface from about \(99 \%\) of incoming solar UV radiations. Ozone layer is present in the stratosphere which is also called ozonosphere. It lies at an altitude of \(23-25 \mathrm{~km}\) over equator and its concentration is 300 dobsons.
