The correct answer is: Acromegaly is usually associated with hypoglycemia and hypotension
Thyroid hormones secreted by thyroid glands are T3 and T4. T4 (thyroxine) is the chief circulating hormone but less active than T3. Thyroxine is responsible for metamorphosis in amphibian as it increases metabolism. Milk ejecting hormone is oxytocin that is produced by paraventricular nuclei of the hypothalamus but stored in the posterior pituitary. Acromegaly is a condition seen due to hypersecretion of growth hormone. Hypersecretion is concerned with hyperglycemia and hypertension too as high levels of growth hormone stimulates gluconeogenesis and lipolysis.
