The heroine is commonly called smack is chemically diacetylmorphine and is obtained by acetylation of morphine. It is extracted from the latex of poppy or opium plant called Papaver somniferum plant. Opiate narcotics are drugs that suppress brain activity and relieve pain. They are called pain killers.
