Cell cycle consists of interphase and M - Phase. Interphase consists of G1 phase, S phase and G2 phase. G1 phase is Gap1 phase in which max growth and protein synthesis occurs. S phase is synthesis phase in which DNA replication occurs and G2 phase in which synthesis of tubulin protein occurs. M- phase consists of Karyokinesis or division of nucleus and cytokinesis or division of cytoplasm.
