A non-interrupted gene is also called a split gene
The coding sequence representing a protein in prokaryotes is not split that is not interrupted by a noncoding sequence. Split genes are observed commonly in eukaryotes, they have interrupted genes (also called a split gene). Mature mRNA has all its intron section spliced and having the exon part which represents the protein sequence.
