$\mathrm{x}=0.3 \mathrm{~cm}-3 \times$ scale division of vernier calipers
$$

=0.3 \mathrm{~cm}-3 \times \frac{9}{100} \\
=\frac{30-27}{100} \\
=\frac{3}{100} \\
=0.03 \mathrm{~cm}
\end{array}
$$
