Trialkyl ammonium hydroxide undergoes Hoffmann elimination to give less substituted alkene. Elimination of more acidic -H occurs from that -carbon, which is joined to largest number of hydrogens. Thus, elimination of H occurs opposite to that of Saytzeff rules.
