The correct answer is: 5b-4a

T1=Kl1-l

T2=K(l2-l)

So, T 1 T 2 = l 1 l l 2 l

  T1l2-T1l=T2l1-T2l

T2-T1l=T2l1-T1l2

l= T2l1-T1l2(T2-T1)

l=5a-4b        .......(i)

5-4=k(b-a)

k=1b-a            ...(ii)

9=kl                            (l= change in length)

9 =1b-a ×l'l'= 9b-9a

Hence, final length

lfinal=l+l'

lfinal=5a-4b+9b-9a

lfinal=5b-4a
