The magnetic field at the centre of a long solenoid is given by in terms of magnetic permeability in free space, 

B=μ0ni             ...(1).

And magnetic intensity is given by

H=Bμ0

H=ni,              [using 1]

1000=n×2

n=500 turns meter-1

n=5 turns cm-1
