The correct answer is:
$\mu_{\mathrm{B}} \sqrt{35}$
The magnetic moment of the ground state of an atom whose open sub-shell is half filled with $\mathrm{n}$ electrons is given by
$\mu=\sqrt{\mathrm{n}(\mathrm{n}+2)} \cdot \mu_{\mathrm{B}}$
where $\mu_{\mathrm{B}}$ is the gyromagnetic moment of the atom.
Here, $\mathrm{n}=5$
$\therefore \mu=\sqrt{5(5+2)} \cdot \mu_{\mathrm{B}}=\sqrt{35} \mu_{\mathrm{B}}$
$\mu=\sqrt{\mathrm{n}(\mathrm{n}+2)} \cdot \mu_{\mathrm{B}}$
where $\mu_{\mathrm{B}}$ is the gyromagnetic moment of the atom.
Here, $\mathrm{n}=5$
$\therefore \mu=\sqrt{5(5+2)} \cdot \mu_{\mathrm{B}}=\sqrt{35} \mu_{\mathrm{B}}$
