The correct answer is: 5
Given, A=7i^+6j^

Let B=b1i^+b2j^ ......(i)

Given that, A+B=11i^+9j^

Or 7+b1i^+6+b2j^=11i^+9j^

Comparing the scalar component of i^ and j^

7+b1=11 and  6+b2=9

b1=4 and b2=3

   From Equation. (i),

B=4i^+3j^

B=42+32=25=5
